Stephen Skinner Named President of WCS Construction
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Aug. 9, 2023 – WCS Construction today named industry veteran Stephen Skinner as company president.
Skinner brings more than 43 years of experience in the DC area construction market, serving in senior leadership roles at other leading companies, in the Washington, DC region.
He joined WCS Construction in April 2023 as senior vice president and has focused on strategic planning and improving processes and procedures. In his new capacity, Skinner will direct all facets of the company’s operations.
WCS Construction is an affiliate of WC Smith, a Washington, DC-based commercial real estate developer, and property management firm that has been operating in the District since 1968.

Skinner holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Purdue University. He completed an Executive Leadership Program at the London School of Business and IMD Top Executive program. He also is chair and facilitator of the Young Leaders Leadership Insight Group.
