2M Street Achieves LEED Gold Certification
Washington, DC – WCS Construction, LLC is pleased to announce that the US Green Building Council has awarded LEED Gold designation to our recently completed 2 M Street project a 314-unit apartment building at 2 M Street, NE, Washington, DC.
The project has a range of sustainable features, including a green roof, a rainwater harvesting system, a rooftop solar array, Energy Star appliances, energy efficient lighting, and green label-certified paint and finishes. Located two blocks from the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro Station and three blocks from Union Station, 2M tenants have easy access to transit. Building residents can also take advantage of reserved bike parking and electric car charging stations.
