Renovation of 95 affordable residential units, including electrical throughout, centralized heating and air conditioning, updates to all kitchens with new cabinetry, tile flooring, and new appliances and bathrooms.  Phase I included the creation of a rental office with a kitchenette, meeting room, and common area laundry room, a new community room for tenants, and a refreshed mailbox area.  The Dry Clean Depot housed at the 7701 Georgia Avenue location has undergone a refresh as well.  Modernization followed the guidelines of Green Communities.  Both buildings originally constructed in the 1930s were brought into the 21st century with UFAS (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards).
